Photography
Workshops
for 2008
Instructor, Jessica Taylor
Cathedral
Lakes Park is unique in the diversity it offers photographers.
From from" base camp" at the treeline, Cathedral
Lakes Park includes grassland steepe ecosystem, a forest
basin, subalpine meadows, and the "moonscapes"
of the rim. In July and August a profusion of wildflowers
can be found within any of these ecosystems.
Jessica's
workshops are oriented for beginners, but are suitable as
well for more experienced photographers. Whatever the skill
level, these sessions are a great opportunity to interact
with other photographers in a beautiful landscape. Registration
for the three day program is limited to twelve students.
Jessica Taylor is a photographer based in Vancouver. She
studied photography in Toronto at Contact, where she later
ran a Photography Club of over fifty members. Jessica is
head photographer at "College Club", at the University
of British Columbia, where she has been teaching for the
past two years. For the last two summers she has run her
own programs in the Okanagan. Although she has experience
in many areas of photography Jessica's most recent passion
in wildlife and landscape photography will be the focus
at Cathedral Lakes.
